FAQ
Frequently asked questions about TrustBridge
Night care is support provided during the night to ensure safety, comfort and peace of mind for both the individual receiving care and their family. At TrustBridge Care, we offer two types of night care:
Waking Nights – A trained carer stays awake throughout the night to provide continuous support. This is ideal if someone needs regular assistance, such as help with repositioning, medication, toileting, or ongoing monitoring of a complex condition.
Sleep-in Nights – A carer sleeps at the property and is available if needed. This option is suited for those who are generally settled but may require occasional reassurance or help during the night.
Both types of night care are tailored to individual needs, ensuring the right level of support is always available to promote rest and safety at home.
Choosing between waking nights and sleep-in nights depends on the level of support needed during the night.
Waking Nights are best if regular assistance or close monitoring is required. For example, if someone needs frequent help with repositioning, medication, toileting, or managing a complex condition, a carer will remain awake and attentive throughout the night.
Sleep-in Nights are more suitable when only occasional help or reassurance is needed. The carer will sleep at the property but is on hand if support is required.
At TrustBridge Care, we’ll carry out a detailed assessment to understand your circumstances and recommend the most appropriate option. This ensures you or your loved one receive the right kind of night-time care, tailored to your needs.
We understand that the need for night care can sometimes arise unexpectedly. At TrustBridge Care, we aim to arrange night care as quickly as possible—often within the same day, and in urgent situations, even sooner.
The process begins with an assessment of your needs so we can match you with the right type of night care, whether that’s waking nights or sleep-in nights. From there, we work to put the right support in place swiftly, ensuring peace of mind and continuity of care.
