Care Assistant

Role Overview:
As a Carer, you will provide personalized support to clients in their homes, assisting them with daily activities while promoting their independence and dignity. Your compassion and dedication will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients feel valued, respected and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry and light cleaning.
• Support clients with medication management and attend to their healthcare needs.
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with social activities.
• Build trusting relationships with clients, providing companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate any changes in clients’ needs to the care team.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in care or support work is preferred, but not essential.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred, but not mandatory.
